KBCA Youth Gospel Olympics concludes
IMPHAL| Jan 27 : The closing ceremony of 2nd Youth Gospel Olympic, organised by Komrem Baptist Church Association (KBCA) Manipur, was held on January 26 at Sinamkom Baptist church.
IGP L. Kailun was the chief guest at the closing programme while social workers, T. Voyage, L. Songthup and M. James were the guests of honour.
Organised under the theme of ‘Run with Unity’, the gospel Olympic was participated by more than 1500 delegates representing 48 villages from Senapati, Churachandpur, Chandel, Kangpokpi and Kakching districts attended the concluding ceremony of the five-day Olympic which began on January 22. The closing day was marked by various sports and arts events which included football, volleyball, tug of war, recitation and singing competitions. Prizes for the winners of the events were also distributed.
The youth gospel Olympic provided an opportunity for Komrem youths from all over the state to interact with one another fostering friendship and solidarity.
Music Festival kick starts on 19 September
